1. Provider and product

CentraCoop is provided by VUMY Technologies Private Limited. It is a Windows desktop application for cooperative-society operations, accounting, reconciliation and reporting. CentraCoop records evidence and accounting entries; it is not a bank, payment processor, salary-paying authority or custodian of customer funds.

These public terms apply unless a signed order, service agreement or licence document states different terms for a customer. If there is a conflict, the signed customer agreement controls for that customer.

2. Fixed 7-day Trial

  • Registration requires the society’s Society ID and name plus an individual user email that is verified with a six-digit code.
  • The first verified account for a new Society ID may start one Trial. A different user entering an existing Society ID does not receive automatic access or another Trial and may require approval.
  • The Trial starts at the server-recorded registration time and runs for seven consecutive days.
  • The same expiry applies online and offline. Closing the app, reinstalling it, changing a device or registering again does not restart the Trial.
  • The Trial includes fictional sample society, member and transaction data so primary workflows and reports can be evaluated without real customer data.
  • The Trial does not create a subscription, does not renew automatically and does not charge the user automatically.
  • When the Trial expires, an active licence is required for continued operational use.

Trial records are sample records. They must not be used as the society’s official books. After licence activation, CentraCoop Support installs the prepared society database and the fictional Trial records are discarded.

3. Society licence

An activated or otherwise authorised licence applies to the society, users, devices, period and features stated in the applicable order or licence record. The licence is not transferable to another society without VUMY’s written agreement.

CentraCoop may refuse operational access when a licence is missing, invalid, expired, suspended or revoked. A licence restriction never authorises VUMY or the application to delete, corrupt or encrypt the society’s local accounting data.

4. Validation, expiry and offline use

When internet is available, CentraCoop validates the licence at startup, resume, reconnection and periodically during use—normally about every 30 minutes. This lets an online device learn that access was renewed, expired, suspended or revoked.

A signed valid-until date governs licensed offline use. A device may continue offline only while that signed date remains valid. A remote revocation cannot be received while the device has no connection; it is enforced when CentraCoop next reaches the licence service or when the signed valid-until date expires, whichever happens first.

Customers are responsible for maintaining enough internet access for registration, licence issuance, renewal and timely status checks.

5. Society data and backups

Core society records remain on the customer’s Windows computer in the current release. The customer controls authorised access, backup frequency, backup storage, data accuracy and decisions to export or share records.

Before reinstalling Windows, replacing a disk, deleting a data folder or restoring an older copy, the customer must make and verify a backup or contact support. Uninstalling the application may deliberately leave the data folder in place to prevent accidental loss.

Data handling is described further in the CentraCoop privacy policy.

6. Microsoft Store delivery

The public Windows application is distributed through Microsoft Store under Product ID 9PL2HT4QM8KK. Microsoft manages Store availability, installation, package identity and Store updates under Microsoft’s terms. VUMY does not publish a public direct-download installer for CentraCoop.

Users should confirm that the Store listing names VUMY Technologies as publisher. A copy offered by another publisher, website or sender is not an authorised public release.

7. Acceptable use

Users must not use CentraCoop to violate law, access another society’s records, bypass licence controls, reset Trial eligibility, distribute modified packages, interfere with the licence service or use credentials issued to another person or organisation.

Reasonable security research should follow VUMY’s responsible disclosure process and must not expose customer data, disrupt service or exploit access beyond what is needed to demonstrate a finding.

8. Support and changes

Official support information is published at centracoop.com/support. Include Product ID 9PL2HT4QM8KK when requesting help.

VUMY may update CentraCoop, these terms or the Trial and licence service to improve security, comply with law, correct defects or reflect product changes. Material changes to these terms will be published here with a new effective date.

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@centracoop.com.
