1. Who is responsible

The cooperative society or other customer using CentraCoop controls the member, staff, accounting and operational records it enters or imports. VUMY Technologies Private Limited controls the limited website, registration, authentication, Trial, licensing, device, update and support information described in this policy.

VUMY Technologies Private Limited is located at 11/9E2, Ganapathi Nagar, Pappireddipatti, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu 636905, India. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@centracoop.com.

2. Data handled locally

CentraCoop is local-first. The Windows application may store and process the following on the customer’s computer:

  • society, office, department, member, nominee, surety and staff information;
  • shares, deposits, loans, Demand, Collection, receipts, expenses, assets, vouchers, ledgers, balances and reports;
  • bank, identity, contact, address, tax and other onboarding fields selected by the customer;
  • customer-selected photographs, signatures, exported reports, local databases and backups; and
  • fictional sample records and entries made in the separate Trial workspace.

These core society records, Trial records, local database files, photographs, signatures and full accounting records are not automatically uploaded to VUMY in the current Windows release.

Future sync is not part of this policy. If CentraCoop later offers optional Web, Android or cloud sync, this policy and the product notice will be updated before that feature is made available.

3. Data handled online

Trial registration and sign-in

CentraCoop may process the registered email address, account identifier, authentication information needed to verify sign-in, Trial start and expiry times, sign-in security events, and the status of the account. A password is used only for authentication and must never be sent to support.

Licence and device checks

The app may send the registered user and society identifiers, installation identifier, pseudonymous device fingerprint, device label, licence certificate, app version, check time and licence status. These records are used to issue, validate, expire, suspend or revoke access and to prevent repeated Trials.

Microsoft review access

Microsoft certification reviewers may use a dedicated, isolated review account and fictional workspace. VUMY records the access and licence events needed to keep that reviewer path testable and revocable.

Website and updates

Ordinary web-request information—such as IP address, user agent, requested page or update channel, response status and request time—may appear in Cloudflare or service security logs. The public site does not use advertising trackers and does not set marketing cookies.

Support

VUMY processes information a customer or user deliberately sends for a support case, such as contact details, a diagnostic bundle, screenshot, report or authorised backup. Users should remove unrelated personal information before sending a screenshot or document.

CentraCoop does not automatically upload society records for advertising, behavioural profiling or AI-model training.

4. Why we use online information

  • to create and protect user accounts and the fixed 7-day Trial;
  • to issue, verify, renew, expire, suspend and revoke software licences;
  • to bind authorised access to the correct society and device;
  • to deliver Store and update information and maintain service security;
  • to provide support when a customer or user asks for it; and
  • to meet contractual, legal, fraud-prevention, accounting and security obligations.

We rely on the customer relationship, steps a user takes to register or activate the product, legitimate service-security and support needs, and applicable legal obligations. Where applicable law requires consent, the customer or user may withdraw it for future processing, although a feature that depends on that information may then be unavailable.

5. Storage, security and service providers

Core society records are stored in the customer’s local CentraCoop data folder and customer-controlled backups. The customer is responsible for Windows account security, authorised workstation access, physical security, backup handling and copies it exports or shares.

Online information is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. VUMY uses access controls, limited administrative access, pseudonymous device identifiers, signed licence certificates and service logging. No security measure can eliminate every risk.

VUMY uses service providers including Microsoft for Store delivery and Cloudflare for website, edge and application infrastructure. They process limited information under their applicable terms and security commitments. Depending on their infrastructure, online information may be processed outside India with safeguards required by applicable law.

6. Retention and deletion

VUMY keeps account, Trial, licensing, device, security and support records only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the licence, prevent Trial abuse, support the customer, maintain an audit and security trail, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. A deletion request may be subject to records VUMY must retain for security, contractual or legal reasons.

Local society records and backups remain under the customer’s control. Uninstalling CentraCoop may leave those records in place so an update or reinstall does not destroy customer data. The customer should verify its backups before an authorised administrator deletes a CentraCoop data folder.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Account and licence information is required to start a Trial or use a licensed CentraCoop installation.
  • Sending files or diagnostic material for support is optional and user-initiated.
  • Depending on applicable law, a person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information held by VUMY, and may raise a grievance about its handling.

Send privacy requests to privacy@centracoop.com. VUMY may need to verify the requester and coordinate with the customer society before acting on a request involving society-controlled records.

Children

CentraCoop is business software for authorised cooperative-society staff. It is not directed to children. A customer processing member information concerning a minor is responsible for handling it under applicable law and its own procedures.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published at this URL with a new effective date and version. The policy in effect when a new data-handling feature is introduced will describe that feature before it is used.

Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@centracoop.com.
